If you want to get involved in the No More Room in Hell animation series, you'll want to read this journal.
What is needed for the project:
-6 male survivor designs
-4 female survivor designs
-designs for Mickey (G5) and The Train Conductor
-8 male voice actors
-4 female voice actresses
-any amount of zombie designs and voice actors/actresses

For information regarding the story, see my previous journal.

For those looking to see their design in the animations:
-leave a comment with an image of the design linked in it. It doesn't have to be great artwork, but just get the image and idea across.
-if there's a specific group you want your character in, please specify which one (if not I'll pick myself)
-if you wish to voice act for your own character, please say so
-share this journal!

For those looking to voice act in the animations:
-if I don't have it already, please send me a note with your Skype information so we can discuss it.
-if there's a specific survivor you want to voice act for, specify in your note. If you're doing a zombie, your sound clips will probably be used multiple times anyways
-people who want to voice act their own characters get first priority. If the designer doesn't want to voice act, then it's fair game.

For those who can't do either, but are still looking to help:
-please consider purchasing the NMRiH Original Soundtrack, conducted by ThoughT. This animation series is an attempt to support the developers, and that's a great way to do so. Original Soundtrack can be found on YouTube here: youtube.com/watch?v=LKM6FA2x6_…
-SHARE THIS JOURNAL!!! Get the word around about this opportunity to get involved!

Everyone who contributes to this project, whether it's designing or voice acting for either survivors or zombies, gets one of my commission offers for free. See my profile for details about what I can do for you.

Tips for survivor designs:
-HUMAN CHARACTERS ONLY.
-be detailed, but not TOO detailed. This applies to pretty much all aspects of your survivor. Balance is key here, folks.
-be both realistic and practical. Don't show me a camo-coated redneck dual wielding katanas. Come to think of it, katanas are a no-no overall.
-it'd be preferred that you give them a melee weapon of choice. (doesn't have to be a weapon from the game)
-you should be okay with them dying, since I won't specify which characters make it. I'd estimate there's a 1/3 chance of them dying before the series ends.
-keep in mind that these survivors will be in an urban environment 90% of the time. That should influence their clothing and weapon choices, although it doesn't have to totally dictate it.

Tips for zombie designs:
-HUMAN CHARACTERS ONLY.
-be even MORE prepared to watch them get killed. But just remember, the death of a survivor COULD be caused by your zombie...
-again, think urban. Just more worn and decrepit.
-probably shouldn't be as detailed as a survivor would be.

If I get more survivor designs that I like than I can work with (which is unlikely), the leftover survivors will be seen as runners.

Tips for voice actors and actresses:
-be flexible. lines may change in development.
-be ready to yell and scream, especially if your role dies or gets wounded. In a zombie apocalypse, a calm discussion is pretty rare.
-so long as you've got the talent/skill, a good quality mic isn't necessary, while it's always good to have one.

If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
